About Me

I began my investment industry career in 2019 and joined Stifel in 2021, though I have been interested in the financial markets since the age of 10, when my parents gave me Growing Money:  A Complete Investing Guide for Kids, a book by Gail Karlitz.  When I was 13, I convinced my father to open a custodial account through E-Trade and began trading in the computer lab between my classes.  During 2019, I had a summer job day trading and lost nearly all of my principal in the first few weeks.  I spent the rest of the summer working to break even – this taught me a good lesson in risk management.

Becoming a financial advisor was my opportunity to turn my passion into a profession.  Prior to Stifel, I was an entrepreneur and former business owner of ElevateRX Animal Health, a wholesale pharmaceutical distributor for veterinary medication and supplies.  Once I decided to make the move to the investment industry, I realized my passion for wealth management and working closely with individuals and businesses could go hand in hand.

Outside the office, I serve in various roles throughout my community, including chairman of Ducks Unlimited Santa Fe Chapter, business mentor volunteer of SCORE Association, member of Active 20-30 Albuquerque Club, and member of The Masonic Lodge.  I enjoy a number of outdoor activities, including hunting, fishing, off-roading, skiing, hiking, golfing, and playing hockey.  In my free time, I can often be found boating around the Thousand Islands on the St. Lawrence River in Northern New York, where I grew up.

I earned a B.S. in General Biology from the University of New Hampshire and hold Series 7 and 66 securities licenses, as well as life, health, and variable insurance (including annuities).
